Blind and visually impaired children often suffer from developmental delays due to their disability. These delays lead to low self-esteem, a tendency to stay in one place, and fear of experimenting with new places, in addition to other difficulties.
“ETGARIM” activities are organized every other week for 4 hours and include 2 groups of children (approximately 18 children) who suffer from visual impairment.
The goals of the activities are:
- to help the disabled children experiment with their mobility,
- develop a sense of self-esteem,
- to improve motor abilities and balancing reactions while using suitable accessories.
In addition, these activities improve social skills such as mutual aid and cooperation with the team.
During training, the children improve their skills and enjoy the activities at the same time.
